No, nothing romantic, like the escape in the movie Shawshank, led to my coming here. I am an international teacher, which simply means that I teach in countries outside USA.

From day one, since my arrival here, I have been thinking

Voices in the Wind

It is high tide. Where I live now is about twenty feet from the water; I couldn’t be much closer if I lived on a boat. In a way, I do sort of live on a boat: I live on Pohnpei, a small island in the middle of the Pacific (in the Federated States of Micronesia). As always, the weather today is mild. We often get a lot of rain here, but now it is sunny and windy. I have wanted to start a web page for quite awhile. Probably like a lot of people, I learned HTML code (the bare basics) but didn’t start a web page, I have also learned Dreamweaver (the basics) but again did not start a page.

Last week I first read about Blogs and became interested. Now here goes my first web page.

I have been a journal writer for quite awhile.
